2) We are not covered by any maintenance agreement. Equipment will be repaired only if still being manufactured or in stock. It is up to 3Com to determine if the product can be returned or not.
3) If deemed returnable continue to step 4.
If not returnable and that equipment is needed in your network, send an email to david_sugiyama@notes.k12.hi to request a replacement. Please state model number and number of ports needed. If we have a backup, we would prefer you to try to schedule a pickup from our Kalani office (for Oahu Schools). For neighbor islands, we will try to send it to you.
4) Verify that they will be sending the replacement to your school with your name as the contact.
5) The replacement will arrive within a few days. The box should contain instructions on how to return your equipment
along with a DHL shipping label and orange label to write the RMA number and serial number.
If no shipping label is included in the RMA box, please send an email to David_Sugiyama@notes.k12.hi.us. Please include your mailing
address and contact name in the email. A mailing label will be sent to you shortly.
Call NSSB WAN Group (David Sugiyama) at 377-7701 to report trouble with 3Com Routers or core switches.
